VW India has upgraded its dealerships in a bid to provide seamless sales and after-sales experience for customers.
German carmaker Volkswagen has launched the Digital Workplace application in all 121 dealerships across 104 cities in India. Dealerships will be equipped with tablet computers along with a pre-installed Digital Workplace application in order to digitise and simplify the buying experience.
The Digital Workplace app is mean to aid VW consultants in lead capturing, provide 360-degree views and vehicle presentations, videos, competition comparison, financing solutions, register test-drives and more. The app also allows the technicians to showcase and explain the repair work required on their vehicles to customers. A six-step procedure will send timely notifications to customers via SMS about their vehicles right from the time it enters the workshop, until completion of the work. At the end, the customer can choose to either pick up their vehicle or ask the dealership to drop it at their doorstep.
Furthermore, the app will enable dealers to create a customised product brochure for customers with their preferred vehicle and choice of features.
