New Delhi: The primary two one-dayers of the Quadrangular sequence, involving India A and India B, had been referred to as off on Thursday as a consequence of poor floor situations following heavy rains.
The Quadrangular sequence that includes India A, India B, South Africa A and Australia A was set to start out on Friday at Mulapadu, Vijayawada however incessant rains rendered the bottom unplayable for subsequent two days.
“Attributable to heavy rainfall within the area, the match officers, in session with the bottom curator Mr S Sriram, reached a consensus that the bottom situations weren’t appropriate for play for the following two days,” Amitabh Choudhary, appearing secretary of BCCI, mentioned in an announcement.
“Because of this, matches on the 17th & 18th August (reserve day) which had been scheduled to happen between India A & Australia A, India B & South Africa A needed to be referred to as off.”
“The remainder of the fixtures will proceed as per schedule from 19th August, 2018,” the assertion added.
